My son has so many allergies and also has asthma and one that that he is allergic to is mold. My husband starts sneezing and coughing when he comes home from work. How do people get rid of black mold? I am afraid they are just going to come in and paint over it and that is not going to sit well with me. My family has been dealing with this for 2 months now and I am sick of it. Anything I can do?

The mold is in the ceiling, there is no way I can kill it up there. It should be the landlords job to do this. Can mold form in 2 months time?
